Salto Curucaca Hydroelectric Plant, in partnership with the company Santa Maria Papel e Celulose
Agrária's efforts to promote sustainable production include the reforestation of approximately 4,500 ha, creating biomass to generate power to be used in its industries.
The Cooperative's forestry sector also has 6,500 ha of preserved native forest.
In 2018, 106,552 tons of wood were harvested in our own forest areas, and 57,160 tons were harvested by the Forestry Unit in third-party areas (Forestry Biomass Project).
Of the total amount in 2018, 229 hectares refer to reforestation in leased areas (Forestry Biomass Project).
