Valuing and preserving the Swabian culture are inherent to Agrária's very being, as it is one of the strongest features of its identity. The Cooperative is engaged in preserving the roots of its founders, acting as the curator of the Danube Swabians' language, history, customs and traditions.
Engaged in preserving the Swabian culture, the Swabian Brazilian Cultural Foundation coordinates folk music, singing, theatre and dancing groups. Cultural presentations, typical events, coordination of a youth center, and radio broadcast of daily programs and the publication of a cultural magazine - both in the German language - are also part of the Foundation's activities.
The Danube Swabians' unique path through history, over a period of approximately 300 years, has been documented and preserved in the modern Entre Rios Historical Museum. Interaction, technology, and a collection of approximately 5,000 objects, housed in a space of 1,800 sq. m., tell visitors about the Swabian history and traditions.
The Imperatriz Dona Leopoldina School offers quality education to the whole community, through Kindergarten, Basic and Middle School Education and a technical-professional course in Agriculture, which achieved a special mention in the National Award for Educational Management. Among the institution's differentials is the teaching of the German language in the curriculum for all classes, in addition to sports activities and volunteer work projects. The overall development of the students, a priority of Colégio Imperatriz, is reflected in outstanding performance in examinations of national recognition, such as the ENEM - in which it is constantly classified as the best institution in Guarapuava and the neighboring region - and in proficiency in the German language.
